A sense of overall wellbeing starts with valuing our mental health; by making it a priority and being proactive daily. So often the emphasis is focussed on physical health. Mental and physical health are interconnected and close attention of both is strongly recommended.
The image on this page has been purposely chosen because it depicts, one reason, why people consider coming for counselling. In a nutshell the picture illustrates that life is not what they want it to be. Something is not working and consequently it is having a knock-on effect to their quality of life.
The man in the picture is pulling a curtain to a new colourful world after discovering their power to make a change for the better. Seeking help through counselling is one way to achieve this.
It takes courage to come to counselling. No longer are the issues being suppressed instead they are being faced. Ultimately, counselling is about personal development. With a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist you are expertly and safely supported to unpack and explore your thinking, behaviours, patterns of relating and look at how past events may be influencing your everyday life. This raises self-awareness and thereafter offers many choices and answers to aid your way to experiencing the quality of life you deserve.
